Swadlincote is a market town in the district of South Derbyshire, England.

Situated within the picturesque National Forest, Swadlincote has a deep industrial heritage, and was once a  major center for coal mining and pottery production. Cadley Hill Colliery produced a lot of coal during the seventies and eighties, and the local kilns of Sharpes pottery started producing in the early 1800's.  

Swadlincote is a diverse community with a mix of families, young professionals, and retirees.
